On December 13th, the 2024 Electric Power Construction Technology Development Conference and Innovative Electric Power Intelligent New Construction Equipment Exhibition, hosted by the China Electric Power Construction Enterprise Association, was held in Jiangsu. With the theme of "innovation, intelligence and resource conservation", this conference will deeply implement innovation driven, accelerate the construction of new quality productivity in the power construction industry, promote the high-quality development of the power construction industry, and contribute to the power construction to promote the construction of Chinese path to modernization.

The meeting was chaired by Wang Jun, Executive Vice President of China Electric Power Construction Enterprise Association.

Li Meng stated that building a new technological system for the new power system is crucial. We should focus on the multi energy complementarity in the coordinated development of new energy power, tackle the coupling technology of electricity hydrogen electricity, strengthen the capacity building of new energy on grid consumption, off grid consumption, and long-term energy storage, explore the establishment of green power direct transmission channels and cross regional settlement systems, promote smooth output, and increase the proportion of clean energy power.

In his speech, Xin Bao'an pointed out that the power industry should focus on key areas, make precise efforts, provide strong technological support for promoting high-quality development, play the role of an industry platform, and gather a strong force to promote power technology innovation. Strengthen the research, formulation, and application promotion of standards, and promote mutual recognition and exchange of Chinese and foreign standards.

In his speech, Wang Siqiang pointed out that there has been a qualitative leap in the level of technological innovation and intelligent construction equipment in the power construction industry. The achievements of technological innovation have witnessed the vigorous development of the power construction industry, inspiring generations of power engineering builders to dare to innovate and seek change, and to bravely overcome difficulties. The China Association of Electric Power Construction Enterprises will bravely stand at the forefront and shoulder its mission.

Shu Yinbiao emphasized that building a new type of power system is a long-term and arduous task that requires the joint efforts and participation of the government, enterprises, and all sectors of society. Only by forming a joint force and promoting synergy can we occupy a favorable position in the global energy transformation and contribute more wisdom and strength to achieving the "dual carbon" goal.

Fu Zhenbang emphasized the importance of power technology innovation in achieving the "dual carbon" goals, promoting green and low-carbon energy transformation, and building a new type of power system. It is pointed out that innovation in power technology is the core driving force for promoting high-quality development of the energy industry.

As an important representative standing on the energy consumption side, Wang Shi shared Vanke's exploration and practice in the field of green and low-carbon from his personal experience, as well as his outlook on the future of carbon neutrality. Wang Shi called on all enterprises to actively participate in carbon neutrality actions and jointly promote green and low-carbon development in his speech. He stated that carbon neutrality is not only a challenge, but also an opportunity.

Zhu Gongshan pointed out that the new energy industry needs to rely on technological innovation, control costs while ensuring quality, and aim to build a safe, clean, efficient, and intelligent new power system. It should actively respond to the challenge of overcapacity and promote the development of the industry towards specialization and refinement.

Gao Ningze emphasized that comprehensively promoting mechanized construction is the key path to accelerate the formation of new quality productivity in power grid construction. It is pointed out that the efficient promotion of mechanized construction can not only significantly improve the efficiency and quality of power grid construction, but also effectively promote technological innovation and industrial upgrading, laying a solid foundation for building a safe, reliable, and intelligent modern power grid system.
